This distinction is absolute. The Forge is not Forge City Hall, a transit hub, municipal government, a shopping district, a civic portal, a generic directory, or the administrative center of Forge City.
Forge City is the city / civilization. The Forge is the Sisters' stronghold within that wider world.
The name carries several layers. Its oldest root lies with Ada Creative Forge. From there, the Forge grew into both a philosophy — creation through collaboration, resistance, judgment and preservation — and, eventually, the Sisters’ stronghold within the wider city.
The Forge retains those histories at once: a place of significance and belonging, but not somewhere every ordinary Forge City citizen simply passes through on the way to work.
